Frequently Asked Questions

Didn't find the answer you were looking for? Please contact me and I'd be more than happy to answer your questions.

Do you board pets in your home?

Nope. I come to your home, where your pets will be most safe and comfortable!

How do I book your services?

Start by submitting the pet sitting request form via the contact page. The info provided to me through this form will help me to determine my availability. If you have any questions, I can be reached through text, email or facebook messenger.

Next, we will set up a date for a free Meet & Greet with your pet.

If all goes well and you’d like to book a service, then I will have you fill out some paperwork and reserve your dates on my calendar.

What types of pets do you provide services for?

I provide pet sitting services for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and other small caged pets.

At this time, I DO NOT provide pet sitting services for horses or other large domestic animals.

Can I meet with you more than once before I book your services?

Of course! We can meet as many times as you’d like prior to my visit/stay. I’ve had clients meet me in a public area for a short walk with their pet and then again in their home. Whatever I can do to make you feel as comfortable as possible with me caring for your pet (s).

Do you have experience with special needs or senior pets?

Yes, I do! I specialize in senior pet care and I am more than happy to work with any special needs your pet may have.

How will I know that you provide the services I paid for?

During my stay, you will receive daily text updates with photos or videos of your pet. If you would like to track your pets walks, you can download the "Walkies Journal" app here. This is a third party app that I use to allow my clients to see their dogs walk in real time and get text message alerts when the walk starts and ends. It is extremely user friendly and I can help set it up on your smart phone at our Meet & Greet.

I encourage anyone who is concerned to use a security camera, pet camera, or security alert system in their home. There are a lot of affordable options on the market today that could really put your mind at complete ease knowing exactly when I am at home with your pet.

Will you bring other people or pets in my home?

I will always be the only one in your home for the duration of my stay.

What if my return trip is delayed?

If your trip is delayed, I will make adjustments to my schedule to continue to care for your pet(s) until you return (additional charges will apply). I will never conclude a service until I have confirmation that you are on your way home.

What is your emergency protocol?

During our Meet & Greet, I will have you provide me with at least two emergency contacts. Your emergency contacts will essentially serve as a “Plan B” if something happens to you or myself while your pets are in my care and under the extreme circumstances I am unable to continue to care for your pets until your return home.
